Huge new update, with new (work in progress) Maps, and also finally, bots!
They suck. They will either be extremely easy to cheese or will instantly kill you on sight with no in-between. This is not what will be in the final version but at least it's something to do while you wait for a lobby to fill.
Other updates:
- Fixed explosives not attaching to fellow hunters, you can now make suicide hunters.
- maps now rotate and players can vote whether to stay on map.
- Extra large ladders are now fixed. (And oddly shaped ladders)
- More movement work done on the hunted and hunters so they are more responsive and feel better to control.
- removed headbob (for now, will become an option later)
- general balancing with monster attack speed and hunter weapon damage.
- increased Heavy class speed slightly.
- beacon design finalized, and you can now ride a beacon as it gets activated + you can walk ontop of activated beacons.
- Beacons now are easier to activate.
- Dead players can no longer activate beacons
- Dead bots can no longer activate beacons
- improved backend for faster weapon, class, map, and monster additions.
- friendly fire buffed again. Watch those bullets.
- patched up portal to the void realm, no more void realm bunkering underneath the forest map.
- General optimization additions in outdoor maps, can now easily get 100fps on high with a rog ally/steamdeck.
- ragdolls fixed
- dead zombies can no longer attack you.
- Monster and zombies can no longer attack through walls
- Monster can no longer be seen through walls.
- Dead monster materials fixed.
- Monster shader finalized.
Currently known bugs:
- Physics objects kill on contact.
- Bots get stuck on each other.
- bots get stuck on the beacon
- killed zombies will watch you.
